After all the trouble I had with this panal.... it is finally done.... and guess what... it is ripply.... I could cry. I sandwiched it to avoid borders and binding... thought I would be safe. I have used sizing and spray startch to straighten it out... does any one have any other suggestions. Thank you.

It's adorable even with the ripples.
Maybe just letting hang for a bit will help it.
I hope it does.

ok so I research the heck our of wavy borders.... One article said to spray with water and the hold a steam iron over the ripples.... with all the sizing and starch I used , I think it worked. I will leave it until tomorrow before I wrap it and see if it is ok.... Thanks ladies....

It's such a cute grow chart. I hope your extra efforts take the ripples out. But even so, it is made with love, and THAT is what counts. (I would be upset, too, though. You have a lot of work in that puppy.) Good luck.

Really cute! Since it's going to hang, you could get drapery chain, which basically are weights encased in fabric that you sew into the hem of drapes to make them hang correctly.

I have also used fender washers, which are big heavy washers from the hardware store. Just enclose them in a casing.
