Modern Street Art Graffiti Quilt- Long Armer Had Fun With This One!!
4 Attachment(s)
Having grown up in the 60's, I fell in love with this Peace-Sign Street Art graffiti fabric line, and I love the quilt I pieced from it. I told my long arm quilter to do 'edgy' quilting on it; broken glass, peace signs, etc. and she went to town on it. Her teenage son saw it and encouraged her to add some graffiti stitching, so she stitched in the date, some peace words, my initials, and other fun words too. So pleased, it is different, but I love it! I pieced the back with leftovers, and her stitching shows up nicely on it.

You an your quilter created a masterpiece!! Love it! We are '60's survivors also.

Your LAQ did a great job on that, totally fits the quilt. I also love that her graffiti font looks so much like the graffiti tags out there today. It completely compliments the quilt. Very edgy indeed.
