Modern Table Runner
2 Attachment(s)
I have been making these blocks and decided to make a table runner for my daughter who has lots of grey tones in her home and a yellow kitchen. It is an easy pattern by Weeks Ringle and Bill Kerr in my American Patchwork and Quilting Feb. 2012 issue. I have lots more cut for a quilt. The back is like the bright yellow and grey flower fabric. Taking it to her tomorrow, hope she likes it for her table.

I love any pattern by those two. Yours is great. Love the colors.
you did a great job... love how the fabrics are focused
That is totally cool. It was fun looking at all the individual fabrics.
Very pretty!!
This is a great "modern" table runner... so lively! Can't wait to see the quilt you are working on.
OMG! Do we share a DD? My DD's condo is gray (she refers to it as "greige") with a yellow kitchen, too! And she would FLIP if I was a nice Mommy like you are & made her a fabulous runner like this. It's adorable! Great job!

That's beautiful and so is your Edith Wolford iris..would be perfect in bloom on the table runner. I am going to dig out my copy of the magazine and see what I can do with this pattern
If she doesn't bring it here. I love it. Some how it reminds me of a slide show at a botanical garden and am all about the garden. Great job.
So hip and up to date! Did you have to buy these fabrics special and not from your stash?:D This would also be lovely in "our" colors with a goldish tan border instead of the white.
Great runner.....love the bright colors.
very cool! love it!
No, I had these fabrics! I often buy FQ's in lots of styles, just so I can play with new ideas. This quilt takes small pieces, so you can easily use scraps. My daughter did like it alot, but with 3 youngsters at the table, you have to decide when you can display it. I told her- use it! I understand about kiddies and spills and messes that happen on a daily basis!

Very nice! I spent quite a lot of time looking at the individual fabrics - when I should be working.
I love it! Is the joining difficult?
