Then I used small scraps and made the prairie points then tucked them under the other points.
The other I figured out is to use Elmer's school glue (it's washable) to attach it to the base block. I tried pins but it distortes the whole thing too much.

The prairie points just push it above and beyond terrific, I loved your first block, this one I REALLY LOVE!
