I'm not really a fan of Dresden Plate, but your version is brilliant ...love it :-D :-D :-D

I've just added my second block. This time I added prairie points. It's going into a wall hanging.

After making the little guys I just tucked them under the other points before I did any stitching.

I don't think I have ever seen a Dresden Plate like yours. I am in awe of your ability to see beyond two or four straight lines. Great inspiration for all of us! Thank you! <wave>

HAH! I didn't realize that those points were not part of the dresden plate .... I think you are MORE than creative! And, I KNOW you are VERY inspirational and challenging to those of us who think we have "seen it all!" ... Like one of our friends said: A traditional block with a twist .

The idea happened by chance. I had the first block finished and the ring of the second block finished and the phone rang. I tossed the ring on top of the finished block and when I came back it just lined up sort of that way. So I made the extra points out of very small scraps and started playing. Funny how some things happen.
