Very pretty. "CDM?" That's one I don't know.

hilda Vest 06-24-2010 09:06 AM

You should hang it where others can see it as they enter your home. It is, indeed, a work of art. Would you hang a beautiful painting to cover your stash?
This is like a beautiful painting--it is meant to be seen by many people.
(Truly a work of ART. Don't be shy.

beautiful quilt and cute dog

JoanneS 06-24-2010 07:38 PM

It's a gorgeous quilt. If I had made it, it would be by the front entry where EVERYONE could see it!

I started a Karen Stone several years ago - got 1 block done, all the blocks traced on paper, and all the fabrics sorted - then we returned to CT from Tucson & I never got going on it again.

I'm a Rosamund Pilcher fan, too. I reread Shell Seekers about every third year. I'm going to have to find some Catherine Cookson books. Do you need to read them in a certain order?

Sheree from Chicago 06-24-2010 08:20 PM

Rosyhf - you are a master at piecing! It's gorgeous!
