I wanted to post some pictures of doll quilts like I collect here today... I love the older quilts that were made for little girls and their dollies and thought you might enjoy seeing some of them and a couple made by a couple of older ladies in my doll club.

Ann passed away Saturday night, age 94... She lives on in our hearts and in the quilts she made for us...

I see that a quilt of his was sold last year on eBay but I'm having a bit of trouble (#&$Y#& computer) tracking down the sale price.

Seems he's a book seller now:

Read the small print on the bottom.

"He was a very active Board Member of the Surface Design Association in its early days. His batiks were significant in detailed designs and many color changes. He then switched to quilt-making and, together with his doll-maker wife, marketed the products under the studio-name Pea Ridge Purties. Steve is now a full time book seller. "

Yes, I've done the DQ swap every month since Feb. of this year, and I've sent one little quilt to AAQI. Have another one that is almost done for AAQI. I get bored making lots of things for a large quilt, and then I go off the rails and do something stupid, so I keep doing small things that keep my attention! Would love to see more of your doll quilts!
