More baby quilts! The first one was made for my daughter's friend, who had a baby girl in January, the second one for a co-worker who had a little girl, and the last one is one of two quilts that are identical, with the exception that the borders are different colours. One is pink, the other yellow. A girlfriend commissioned me to make them for twin girls born in Vancouver. The mom loved them! The pics are a little washed out, but the actual quilts were really pretty.

Here's one I just finished for Hailey, who will make her arrival sometime in April. This is the frustrating bird in the air that I asked for help with here on the list. Since I had a time crunch to get it done for the shower, I alternated with solid squares. I didn't let this beat me though, took the other 8 squares and made another quilt top this past week end.

Sweet quilts all. I love baby quilts. They're so special because babies rock and they're a manageable size. I even struggle manhandling a lap-size quilt in my machine when it comes to the quilting step. Anything bigger than that will have to go to a quilter for help. :)
