This are so clever! They will make me look at fabrics with an eye to new possibilities. I especially like the fireworks quilt.

A friend just gave me a book on scenic bargellos. I really am getting to like them more and more. They are so fascinating. You did a fabulous job on putting them together. They look like works of art!

Maggie_Sue 01-23-2011 02:14 PM

You have that technique mastered for sure! Great scenes!

These are terrific! Wow .... you are really "on a roll" with these! Everyone of them is creative and fun to look at. I am thinking of getting the "Instant Bargello" book by Susan Kisro, since I would like to try making some of these bargello landscapes. If it is as easy as you say, I'll offer to teach it at one of our member-taught workshops that our quilt guild has twice a year. To my knowledge, no one has done this yet in the guild.

Just finished making a Lap quilt with the Faux Monet....When I say it's "SEW SIMPLE" I mean it....And the classes I've given to beginners and advanced love it because you can actually finish a top in a matter of a couple of hrs....It's just FUN work and you get to use your imagination in creating your own scenes...

MDMPanther 01-25-2011 12:14 PM
