I simply cannot imagine cutting, much less sewing all those teensy little pieces together to make a picture. It boggles the mind. Amazing!

I agree with Moonwork. I can't even imagine working that small! They are great. I guess he doesn't mind you doing the fabric shopping and him just getting the scraps!!!
