Beautiful Scrappy, love the dryer sheets. I have never used them but often think I should at the end of each load of laundry.

Thanks for the idea, the people on this board are the smartest, most sharing people I have ever known.

This looks great, Judy! Good idea on the dryer sheets. We don't use them all that much, but have a small empty tissue box on top of the dryer to stuff them in after use. Then you've got a supply whenever needed.
Did you know used dryer sheets are good for: cleaning chrome on faucets (ncluding the gunk buildup around the base of the faucets) softening the stuck on bits left in the frying pan (water in pan and add the used dryer sheet...sit overnight...viola') getting rid of the brown spots on Pyrex, Corning and other baking items...same treatment as for the frying pan. We use them as gentle scrubbies sinks and bathtubs. OK I digress...but those sheets are wonderful for quilting as well as cleaning. :-) |
LOve this quilt. Judy you are so inspiring and your quilts are so doable and quick and use up what we quilters have on hand. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.

coopah - great ideas I've never heard of before!

paintmejudy, that was a great idea! Not having what I need at the time frustrates me too so that was a good save to keep the project going without delay! Really like this quilt top, very pretty! Scrappy is my thing!

Very nice quilt, and good information on dryer sheets!

Judy this is really pretty. I just love it. Someday I'm going to make one too. When "someday "gets here I'm going to be soooo busy. LOL
