I already posted three of these postcards, but I finished three more, so am posting all six. They are going to a fundraiser for animals. I know the stitching isn't very good around the postcards and I am open for suggestions to improve. Although I did see where you can put a small binding around them. I will try that next time; I think it will look better. The collars all have crystals for a little bling. I only wish I could have made more before the deadline. Maybe next year!
those are wonderful |
Fabulous!!! Kudos to you!

Most of the silhouettes for the cards and other projects, I use of my own dogs, rescue dogs, or friend's dogs. If I am looking for a certain pose, I will look up a training video on YouTube for a specific breed and when I see a good pose, I will stop the video and take a picture of the screen, with my camera, then down load it to my computer, size it, print, then trace.

Those are great. Where do you find the silhouettes?

From what I understand, you can just put a stamp on them and put in the mail. The post office will not run them through the postage machine. They may or may not require extra postage. Probably not a good idea to put on too many embellishments if mailing and make sure everything is very secure.

Are these mailable as is, or do they go into an outer manila envelope? they are very pretty. I also volunteer at an animal shelter and would like to do something like these for next year.

Yes, you can write on the back. You put cardstock on the back or 4x6 index cards. Mailing is fine. From what I understand the post office won't run them through the mailing machine.

I think they are wonderful, along with eveyrone else but like them, I too am wondering how they get mailed. Do you write on the back? Please enlighten us.

Thanks for telling us how. I would not have thought to glue the index card on the back. I might try some of these. Please share with us if you do more!

Super cute have you tried going around twice or three times on your edge and stop with needle outside corner when you turn
