Yes they do get used, the white one is on my bed now between a sheet and a older quilt. I guess we shouldn't use them but I have always slept under a quilt my mom or grandma made.

Wonderful quilts, you did a beautiful job on both. Good you use them, I use mine too, have some over 60 yrs old that are used, gently of course. But I think they are made to use.

Here is another, all hand done and about 30 years old. This one is very, very soft and comfy...great for snoozing on rainy days. The colors have faded over time. :(

This one is pretty! maybe because of the faded colors. Looks like a relaxing and conforting one to have to even add for decorative purposes only!
