Houston never fails to wow!

I've been quilting, designing, teaching, selling for 30 years and in the past have occasionally felt like I didn't belong at the show myself. But, along with the spectacular, how-did-anyone-DO-that quilts, there are many lovely traditional peiced or applique quilts that make you feel like stretching yourself instead of just walking away shaking your head and giving up!

Your photos are very good. Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed seeing each of the quilts you took time to bring into our living rooms. You took so many. You put a lot of your time into this for us and we appreciate it. Thank you.

To Jan in VA,

I understand your thinking about those beautiful quilts at the shows. I have skipped some local quilt shows because I get down because I can't do that well.

I feel that I should be home working to get better with my quilting.

All that being said; I do like going to at least one show a year. I love the 'SISTERS' show.
