I have three boys and here are the three applique quilts that I did for them last year. I did not top stitch any of them, only yarn tied. I think this is more kid friendly and it has given my two-year-old something to touch. All were stitched from patterns by The Country Quilter. Their website is the same name .com.

Those are very cute! I don't do much applique; I'm very impressed.

Beautiful boys! Mine are 8, 6, & 2. Sometimes it can be hard to find crafty things to do for boys. Mine always love the things I make for them, especially when they get to choose the fabrics!

I love your work!! Your boys will be thrilled! I also have 3 boys and loved making them things when they were little. I found I had to be a little creative b/c everything seemed geared toward little girls.

Me too, that's why I let them choose their own fabrics. They love to shop with me. Then they have something to look forward to as I put it together.
