Looks like there will be more Maxine fabrics besides the ones I posted in this thread:
http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-34578-1.htm They're due out in May. Two more designs: "comic bubbles (sayings)" and "comic circles" (with Maxine in them). Which colors do you like best? |

The light blue just don't seem like Maxine!!
She is BOLD & IN YOUR FACE! She is Not soft and demure like soft blue!! I think that tells which I like the best!! |
Personally, I don't like any fabric with writing in quilts. Craft projects etc. fine, but I think it's distracting for quilting.

I thought it would be especially good for children, as they learn to read. I would love to hear more. :-) |
I like 'um all!

I like the green.

I love Maxine!! She says what is on her mind and nobody argues with her!!

We should all be more like Maxine!

I love Maxine. Thanks for sharing.

Kaufman is coming out with still MORE Maxine fabrics! Just found these on their website; they say they'll be ready in January 2011.
The "Blah Blah" comes in black/white, green, and blue, besides the fuchsia one that I'm posting. |

She's still outspoken. Here are closeups of the first two. (Wish it was possible to read all the sayings on the larger pictures...)

I can hardly wait. I have been thinking, and maybe several smaller projects for my MIL, rather than a lap quilt. We will see. I think this fabric will be so much fun to work with. Thanks for the heads up. :-)
