It's me again! Today we put the two sewing machines that we wanted to, into the counter top. This might seem like a easy task. But I am very proud of my hubby on this one. It takes alot of thought and being able to be very precise. I had to leave the room. Cause once the cuts were made as we know in quilting. It's made, whether its good or bad.lol But once it was done, it is BEAUTIFUL! They set in there just like they were made in there! Next steps are to put under the counter all that we want under there.

You will so enjoy the convenience of having the machines flush with the counter. The scallop edges are wonderful.

Awesome job! It must be such a treat to have the sewing bed table height. I need my installed into something. By the way, I love your 2 machines.

Thank you, I really love those two machines too. And I use them alot. Which is what made us decide those would be the two we set in. But they both sew like work horses. I am going to have to make like bar stools to set in at the counter and I have a really great idea on how to do that. Since I am short my hubby is going to put foot rail under the table so the machine feet will fit on them and I can sit comfy.

That is fabulous! Not something my hubby could do, but my neighbor's Dad....

I leave the room when my hubby is hanging pictures. I tell him where I want them, and he hangs them, but I have to leave the room to give him space to concentrate, and because I can't help giving advice!

kathdavis 06-23-2011 06:53 PM

Could you pass your dh around so he could do the same for all of us? Just think of all the different country he would see. LOL My dh used to be really handy at woodwork but age and cancer has taken their toll on him.

Chele 06-23-2011 08:37 PM
