Love the Southwestern one too!! Very cool... it looks awesome against the black background. My sweetie saw one like this and loved it. I wanted to make one for him, but haven't been lucky enough to find a pattern :( One of these days I will find one. |

The quilt is King size and the blocks are 5.5". I have no idea how many blocks. since I was making it scrappy - I just kept making them until I had enough. The blocks are really simply to make and the pattern is free online. Google 3D bowtie pattern and you should get a link.
The Southwestern pattern I just made up. I looked around online for outline images that would transfer to applique easily and printed them out - took them to the copy shop and had them blow up to a size that looked right to me and went from there. I do have the top completely together now and am almost ready to start quilting. |
