Oooo--very nice!! I love the top runner best--I'm a Fall girl.

That's a really nice table runner, our guild just had that pattern as it's tablerunner of the month. Not sure if it was a free pattern on the web or not, but very effective with those leaves in the center!

I'll post pictures of some of my blocks soon. I am not sure if I am happy how it is turning out. Still need to buy more fabric to get some of the points done. Imagine that? lol

Oh My Gosh! Its lovely!!!! I'm :mrgreen: with envy. I just have to learn to do that! That is paper piecing isn't it? I'm showing my ignorance :oops: but I just love that block and the colors you chose to work with. As far as having to buy more fabric.. :wink: isn't that a requirement??? LOL!

Yes it is foundtion paper piecing. The pattern said "Sew Easy", but never doing piecing before, it was a bit trying. So I went on to another project.

I am getting ready to continue working on it. I think I bought enough fabric to continue. :wink:

your new york beauty is beautiful..i love the colors and would love you to post a picture of it when finished. i too have thought about doing a new york beauty but havent got the courage yet...did you get your pattern out of a book. if so which one?

The pattern that I used is Fon's and Porter's Love of Quilting - New York Beauty. It was around $7.00. It has instructions and the templates. I copied the templates and the only thing that caused a concern was that one of the copiers reduced from the origianl size, so I had make sure they copy at 100%. I bought the pattern at my local quilter shop.

I think you are doing a wonderful job so far justme! I'll have to look up that pattern...add it to my to do really soon list! I really like it!
