Where did you come up with those names for the cats?? Just curious they are so original!
Haha! I know, mad eh? Well, 'Kitchen' came from a book I read years ago by one of my favourite authors, Jilly Cooper. In one of her short stories the heroine had a cat called Kitchen, I just thought it was funny and unusual, and it stuck with me. The author always has a lot of animals in her books and they are always real charatcters with unusual names.
'Satchmo', as you may know, was the nickname of the great Lewis Armstrong. Me and my boyfriend were watching a documentary about him once, before we got the cats, and we both said at the same time 'What a great name for a cat'. When we picked out the two kittens, I fell in love with the little brown one in the litter, who looked up at me and meowed with a funny, strangled bleat. So, a brown kitten with a funny voice? He had to be Satchmo!

Too funny, mine always plops himself right on a quilt when I start sewing and also makes sure the needle is threaded.

They claim them as their own. I'm always happy when they give me the paw of approval. Tee Hee
