What a wonderful way to use orphan blocks, etc. and a great use for the quilts.

What size are the quilts you make for Hospice? They are just beautiful. I have just started to volunteer at Hospice and belief it is a wonderful organization that does a lot of good. I think I would like to make quilts for them also.

I usually make them 40-44" wide by 50-60" in length. The hospice group is so happy to be able to distribute them. I am part of a 55+ development with a crochet group. We started donating to Holy Redeemer Hospice late August 2012 - so far we have donated over 575 afghans & quilts. I started this program in memory of my husband who died May 2012. This was the hospice program that assisted us.

We also make afghans & quilts for CHOP (Children's Hosp of Philly. Also small quilts for NICU

They should be loved by whoever receives them.
