The first quilt is one I made for my Mom. She passed away last April, so it was given to my daughter to keep as a memory of her grandmother.
The maple leaf quilt was made for my brother, Steve, and the third one was made for my friend, Marsha as a surprise. She went right out and bought some of the same fabric to make curtains to match! |
Oh lovely! Great quilts. Do you quilt them yourself? Now I have to see Part I! Make more!
Thanks! Yes, I do my own quilting. I always seem to do the free-motion stippling, because I like it, but I'm going to try to expand my repertoire!
I love them all but the third one is outstanding...
NancyJean- you are a pro!!! Great quilts. Parts I & part 2. Thanks for sharing.
Nancy Jean, I love them all!! Great job!! I like free motion stippling or meandering also. I've used patterns but it's definitely more work to line everything up!! I'm with you!!

Wow again beautiful! How long has it taken you to do all these quilts? And I see you are out of the pink! Love all your work!!!!
Wow, all your quilts are beautiful, but number 3 is really awesome :)
Thanks, Donna Rae! I've been quilting since January 2005, so just 3 years, but for the first year or so, I wasn't working, so had lots of time to work on them. I've been working again for over 2 years, so my time is more limited, but I still love my hobby. And people keep having babies, so I just can't stop now, can I? :)
