More ragged flannels!
 

These are my 18th and 19th ragged flannels. I am in love with these. The fabrics--the names--the backs and how the color shows through to the front. The grands will get these tomorrow. I can't wait. They love to snuggle under their parents' raggeds--so I know they will be tickled to have their very own. Two came out sideways--oops. I'll attach a photo of the two darlings--their mama took it.

Well, the quilts are great, but the photo of the girls should be framed and hung over the mantel!!

I love rag quilts. I have several made for "emergency" baby quilts. Yours is so cute.

I have not yet tried a rag quilt...yours is precious as well as those two cuties. You are so blessed.

Is it the brown on the back that makes the dark "frame" on the ragged side? I really like that!

The rag quilts are delightful. Did you make those crazy quilt style crumb blocks or did the fabric come like that? Love the fancy stitching on them.

Oh yeah--Grandma bought that one. lol The fabric came like that--isn't is fabulous?!! I found the green with hearts in there--so knew they were in a line. Wish I had more!

Jenny brought the girls to a craft show I was doing today. Fun! I had both in my lap for a bit--and watched one at a time so mama could shop. Happy sigh.

Quilts such as these were some of my very first quilting projects. Love them! But I might have washed them too many times - they are now pilling a bit, and I'm embarrassed to give them as gifts to others. Anyone else run into this problem?
