I was only part-time Nursing most of the winter and my Husband is very understanding, he encourages my quilting because he knows how stressful my job can be. We were planning to go to his Mother's for Christmas last year, but I had to work, so the 15Th of November he says "What if we go up the 1st week of December". I panick because I hadn't even thought about Christmas yet...Let alone a present for my new MIL. I cut out all the sections for the plates that morning, went to work and thought the race was on. I put the binding on and began handstitching the back of binding on Nov 30 and thought I have two days. I managed to finish it about noon the day before we were to leave. All set! Woke up the next morning and hubby is sick, high temperature and chills. The quilt is done and wrapped, but we never got to go until the 28th of December...she loved her quilt.

Wowie. All are amazingly lovely. I'm a sucker for florals and have a passion for purple, so that one is my favorite, but I'd like all three to reside in my home.
