Your gardener friend will be very proud and very surprised with the quilt you made him. You did an awesome job. The back and pillowcase are great also. Let us know what he says. Thanks for sharing.

I think your summer dreams quilt for your garden/tractor/farm friend is WONDERFUL!
I am betting that he won't be able to talk for a LOONNGGG time. You done good! <wave>

GD quilt is adorable. Friends quilt is an original work of art. Great job. I'm sure he will love it.

Beautiful quilts. But, the one for your farmer friend is AWESOME!
Love it! Love it! Love it! You did a fantastic job on it, and I bet he will love it, too!

You did a great job on both quilts. Your creativity for the farm quilt is amazing - both on the front and on the back. And you're right, the red thread is perfect.

Those are awesome! I think he will be blown away! I love the color choices you made, great combinations!

Thank you all for the wonderful comments!
I was a little afraid of the red thread on John's quilt, since I'm not very good at FMQ yet and it would show every mistake...but overall I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

(I think with a more "formal" quilting it would have been even nicer, but I am nowhere near up to that yet!).

Have a Merry Christmas, everyone.
