hi! the pattern is from a french magazine and the "body" is made of felt appliqué with a cotton dress/bloomer. The "clothes" are plied so I don't think it will be suitable for a quilt even if you'd use cotton for the body..if you would appliqué the dress I think the effect wouldn't be the same.So I think it's more for decorative. All are beautiful, I especially love your pinwheel quilt. I have bought fabric to do some but have not had a chance to begin them. Too busy taking classes lately. These UFO's are mounting up from the classes. Waiting to get snowed in this winter and have fun completing some of these class projects.
