I would really like to hand quilt this but I don't know if my hands/fingers will cooperate anymore. I really like this pattern.

This is gorgeous and totally you're call. Maybe have a friend help?

nativetexan 12-30-2013 07:14 AM

Oh that is lovely. Do what you feel will work best for you and the time you have to finish it. What ever you decide, that quilt will be gorgeous!!

QuiltnNan 12-30-2013 07:20 AM

looks great so far.

#1piecemaker 12-30-2013 07:23 AM

Oh my gosh!! How would you quilt it? Cross hatch? A design of some kind? Very pretty and hard to decide how to quilt.

mighty 12-30-2013 07:35 AM

Wonderful work!

klaws 12-30-2013 07:42 AM

Sometime the most simple quilt is the prettiest. I love it!

I love those subtle stars Donna! Do you have a local church with a hand quilting group? Perhaps they could help you

leatheflea 12-30-2013 12:22 PM

Love the stars, very soft. It has a modern look to it so I think I would go with some straight lines, maybe more of a utility size stitch, you know the bigger stitch.

Diane007 12-30-2013 02:05 PM

wow that would be a lot of hand quilting to do...
go for it

gabeway 12-31-2013 05:39 AM

Coming along great!

Cris 12-31-2013 06:09 AM

So soothing - such a nice quilt. When it's quilted I hope you post it again. Happy New Year.

FABULOUS!!! I am really into different tones of grey right now. . .

mjhaess 01-01-2014 08:13 AM

Looks great....Hand quilt it a little at a time...I am working on one now and I can't use a thimble so I have to do a little at a time...I work until my finger gets sore and quit until it feels better...LOL...

I second that emotion. It is beautiful in its simplicity.

barny 01-01-2014 11:27 AM

There is a lot lotttttt of room to fill. I would think twice. But it will be gorgeous, when done. Do you have a lot of time to do it?

JanieH 01-01-2014 11:59 AM

Beautiful quilt - I love the softness of the stars and the simplicity.

Eieio 01-01-2014 12:05 PM

I love the simplicity. I would love to see it hand quilted!

BrendaK 01-02-2014 07:07 AM

Lovely. BrendaK

It's so rich and crisp looking. I can't wait to see how you end up quilting it.

QM 01-05-2014 01:07 AM

do what will work for you. Good machine quilting would add as much $ value to your subtle work as good hand quilting.

heather1949 01-06-2014 03:07 AM

It looks awesome.
