What an awesome table! My mom lives with me & we quilt & sew together. She is 4 foot 11 inches & shrinking. I am 5'6". She is either reaching up or I am bending over. Don't have room for multiple tables. This table would be a dream come true.

Thanks for you good wishes everyone.

In our previous house there was an island in the kitchen that was just the right height and a great space for cutting, but as you know we moved recently and I was saying to DH how there would be nowhere or nothing I could cut and sew on apart from the dining room table - which is downstaris (sewing room upstairs). With Mothering Sunday coming I strategically placed a few Horn table brochures around his study!

Works every time... he is such a sweetie... I love him to bits!

lolllllll, and shrinking. But, yeah! You and your mother should see if you could get something like this. It would solve all your reaching and bending issues. I wonder if they sell them here in the States?
