Just finished this Halloween table runner for my daughter. I enlarged the original pattern 150% to make it a bit larger.

The pattern is Mr. October by Carol Steely 2011. The only Mr. October pattern by her that I can find now is a cowboy skeleton wall hanging at https://www.etsy.com/shop/funthreads
I emailed the pattern designer to ask if the other Mr. October is still available.

greencat 09-25-2017 03:09 AM

The pattern is on Craftsy.
See funthreads.blogspot.com
Free quilt patterns, she has two skeleton patterns and will route you to Craftsy.

SusieQOH 09-25-2017 04:01 AM

And here I thought you made a Reggie Jackson quilt. :)

Fun!!!!

twinkie 09-25-2017 04:02 AM

He's so cute.

paintmejudy 09-27-2017 07:28 AM

Too cute! Reminds me of the poster Burt Reynolds did, naked as your skeleton and was done in the late 60s or early 70s. Anyone remember that one?

KLO 09-27-2017 07:33 AM

Oh yes, I thought of Burt Reynolds without skin when I saw your quilt! Didn't Joe Namath do a photo shoot like that also? So funny! I went right to Craftsy and got that pattern especially since it is free. Nice job you your quilt!

Jordan 09-27-2017 07:39 AM

That is so cute and you did a great job. Great idea of enlarging it to make a tablerunner. I think I have that pattern or something similar. I got it in a magazine some time ago. Thanks for sharing. Did you applique with a needle turn or blanket stitch or any other applique method?

javin22 09-27-2017 12:20 PM

that is sure to be a hit for Halloween. Nice job!

sJens 09-27-2017 01:37 PM
