mug mats done with embroidery machine
3 Attachment(s)
Hi everyone, I thought I'd share a couple cute little mug mats I've done with my embroidery machine. I've also posted the address where I got these little cuties from, hope you like. One is a little ladybug and the other is a leaf, they are both from different designers, and really fun to make. The ladybug mat comes from http://www.criswell-emb.com/frontpag...singles21.html
the leaf mug mat comes from http://www.chantells-creations.com/ I really like these both, Chantell has so many awesome shapes , hexagons, squares, and kinds of sets to make awesome tablerunners, coffee mugs and beautiful cushion or pillow covers. This is a really cool site, check it out. |
Those are really cute. I"d be afraid to use them. Those would be cute on the wall too. Great job.

Thank you everyone for the comments on my mug mats. These are done in the hoop, I hoop wss (water soluble stablizer) pick my threads and stitch away. On the ladybug, I trim just before final stitching, trimming the tear away, then do last stitching on the edge. I also hooped wss for the leaf, then just before final stitching, I trim the tear away, then complete with the final stitching around the leaf. Then I remove it from hoop and use a warm cloth to rinse off the wss on the edges of ladybug and leaf. I'd like to try another few more leaves doing scrappy like it is done on chantell's web site. That's for another day though, to many things going on now. :) Happy stitching everyone. :)

Hello ladies, thank you for the compliments. I sure like my little mug mats, my dh sure likes them too. He uses them everyday, when they get soiled with coffee drips etc, he lets me know his little ladybug needs washing lol, to funny.
