Mug Rugs for Mother's Day gift
 

I made these Mug Rugs for my mom for Mother's Day. Mom loves all things pink and also makes the best pies on the planet!! And I'm not even partial! giggle I thought she would love the fabrics with the apple pie and basket of apples.
I decided to make these square to showcase the fabrics. I actually really liked the square ones when I got them completed.
I am hoping she will ditch the ugly round cheap plastic coasters now! LOL

:) My sister and I have that problem......We just say..."Mum hand over the old ones" .....We aren't bullies...but if we didn't do it, she'd be doing the same:)

I gave my mom the mug rugs today and as predicted she refuses to use them! She insists she will be hanging them on the wall along with the Heart shaped hot pads I gave her several years ago. Well, I tried anyway! LOL
