You need to find a guild or a local quilt shop. You'd be amazed the number of quilters around that need a friend. I could sew with my friends every day of the month and never sew with the same person twice!! I love my quilting buddies. They inspire me, teach me and listen to my woes and stories!!

The back is the same fabric as the binding. I have become stingy with my selvedges, so I can use them in more projects.

The size is 7" x 11", but I have seen them smaller and larger.

The coaster was purchased at Pier 1 Imports. It is called the Beaded Jingle Bell Coaster.

A great way to use salvage edges from fabric. Very colorful too.
