I was able to get get 20+ mug rugs completed for holiday giving. They were great fun - hope you enjoy.

I have seen these several times and I have a ?. What do use as a filler?

I used a thin batting and even pulled that apart. I thought that it should have something, but not much. I think an old towel in the middle might be just the right insert.

Oh those are just wonderful! Seem like a good size too, even to use as a coaster if need be.
I like that you just did decorative stitching around the edge instead of binding. How would someone put binding on such a small project? You did great. Love the material you used too. warm quilt hugs, sue in CA |
