Mule Quilt commissioned and finished
4 Attachment(s)
I have made a couple of wall quilts with Running Horses silhouetted against a mountain range. When I had it displayed for sale, a lady told me she would buy it, if it had mules on it. So we worked out a deal where I used a pictures of the lady's three mules that I had taken some years ago to make a silhouette to use instead of horses. It was a close up of just their heads and this is what I came up with. She was please with how it turned out.

The wall quilt isn't that hard to make but is time consuming. I had the change my pattern from horses to mules (and I'm no artist!) so that took a while, then have to drawn it out on heat n bond and attach it to the black fabric. The silhouette has to be cut out using an exacto blade. It goes faster after that.
