About 5 years ago my family visited Multnomah Falls along the Columbia River in Oregon. I found a gift card that screamed, "Use me to make a quilt!!!" I bought the card and it has been sitting on my sewing room shelf forever. Last summer I slowly started to put my ideas together thinking that I'd give it to my son for his wedding. Needless to say, it took longer than expected. I was so happy to enter it at two local fairs. I was very pleased when I was awarded best of show for both.

Congratulations on the ribbons. Thats a pretty quilt. I live in Oregon....but wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy south of the Columbia. :)

It is wonderful. I visited along the Columbia just this summer and saw the falls. There was very little water coming down at that time; but i know they are beautiful. Glad you were able to put the quilt together. Enjoye seeing the quilt.

I grew up in Hood River, OR, which is about 35 miles up the gorge from the falls. It a sight to behold, esp. in the winter with snow and ice on the falls. :-o

I live in eastern Oregon, and anytime I travel to Portland, thru the Gorge, I always stop to take a photo of Multonoma Falls.. There is so much beauty each time we drive to that part of the state.. Thanks for making me see a new " view" of this beautiful state. :)
