We had a founder's day in my hometown in Ga last week & i stopped in at this yard sale as i was stuck behind the parade & after inquiring about fabrics,,the lady said hold on, I think grandma has some and then proceeded to bring out 4 huge totes of fabrics that had been brought from TG&Y, LQS & WM (when they 1st opened up) Most of them had never been cut into! Anywhere from 1 -6 yardsof eachfabrics, were in those boxes of all flowered old-fashioned materials plus 2 quilting books for $17.00. Tried to get the treadle too but not for sale!

Have no idea what I will be making but I have been collecting batiks so this worked great. I may have to make another red and black quilt.
I do plan to give the cutting mat and larger rulers to a friend that is going to start quilting and has asked me to teach her. |
just getting the fabric alone at that price would have been a great deal but then with all the rulers etc. too that is the deal of the century!!
