So Beautiful, now I want to make one, what did you use for your backing?
For the backing I used a cream colored Kona ... and I have to say, I LOVE the Kona (had never used it before) ... easy to work with and has just a great soft feel to it. jody |
So snuggly and inviting!

What a wonderful quilt and quilt tester, I am having to hide it from Muffin or she will be it like a shot.
How big were your squares and did you use any batting/wadding? Have you a picture of the back that we can see. Umm I think you can tell the I love it. |

I don't have a pix of the back :( But I simply used an offwhite Kona fabric and it looks very nice & simple. I did color match the thread to the blocks .... using only cream thread in the bobbin (so that is what shows on the back). For a queen quilt, I used 132 squares, 11 across and 12 down. I cut the top/backing 9" square and the batting 7 1/2 inches square. Very EASY to do!!! Have fun making one ;) jody |
