My “Bow Tucks” adventure
1 Attachment(s)
I finally decided to try making a “Bow Tucks” bag. When I got the pattern a couple years ago, I read through the instructions and came away sure that I had just wasted $10. While reading them, they did not make much sense to me. What I did not understan, was that if I had the purse pieces in my hand while reading the instructions, suddenly they made perfect sense. The first bag I wanted to make, was just going to be a practice to see if I could mange it, so I chose the leftovers from a baby quilt I made some years ago. My scrap bag turned out so nice, I gifted it to my DD for her birthday. To say she was thrilled with it is an understatement. She dumped her current purse on my table and filled her “Bow “ Tucks” on the spot. I call that her approval. Now her sister wants one in yellows and oranges! The first picture came out true color. The second photo did not (maybe it was the gold tones in the background?).
