I made the this 10 minute block today and after three attempts this is what I got. Im not sure about the top stitching. I played the tute 10 times but she did it two different ways and Im not sure if this is either of them. Take a look and dont be afraid to tell me whats wrong. Thanks in advance.

Looks like your measurement was off. I've been making these and on one block I was off a half inch. The center block is pulling cause it's too short. Recheck your block sizes.

Looks good to me.

I think it looks good, I had a little of the pulling to one side when I did this block. Maybe try basting before top stitching, but really, after it's washed and all, it's only noticable to those of us who like to pick apart our own work.

some press the seams open so the inserted square will be centered in the seams better, that way you can fold the edges back and stitch them down easier.

Good tip!

I think your block looks good - remember the galloping horse.

I agree with Painiacs, this looks good! Personally, I have never had much luck with the 10 minute blocks. I have yet to complete one in 10 minutes (more like 45 minutes)!!! LOL
