I was telling some one on the board about this machine and she suggested I post a pic. It was dated by the Smithonian (sp) as being made in 1877.

WOW a true peice of History 1877, can you see some one using this machine back them...Oh does it work? looks like it might.

We were told it needed a curved needle to sew. I knew I would never sew on it so I did not search for the needle. It's in beautiful condition. Right now it is in Olivia's bedroom and everytime I go in there I add a new bruise to my thigh. :roll:
I have some other old machines in the great room that if I can sell I'll move the 1877 out there.
