aawww your cat quilt is tooo cute! And you just started?? Well, I can't wait to see what else you do, as you did a fantastic job on this quilt.

I too thought I could not quilt. When my husband had cancer 7 years ago, his mom decided to teach me then while she was visiting here in SC. What a GIFT of love she gave me. So happy you joined us quilters in this wonderful hobby :)

I used material I already had. Wanted to put pipping around the quilt so I used some cloths line and made my own. Crossed it at the corners to give it a different kind of look. Went on line to find cat shadows, enlarged them, then cut them out of fabric. On the back I embroider 'To Sarah From Mommy 2010'
