I found this panel in some fabric that the sister of a friend of mine sent me. I thought it was beautiful. It is a silky fabric though. So, my friend GailG sent me some stabilizer. When I saw the panel, I immediately thought about the black and gold cheater's print that I had put aside when I saw it. Knowing full well that I had to use it in something. So, last night, I had a sudden urge to start putting it together. Once I got going, I couldn't stop!! I already had the black strips cut for binding. So, I put my DH to work cutting strips of the tiger print for me so that I could sew them on as soon as I go to that point. Teamwork allowed me to put this quilt together in about 2 hours. What do you think?

It is just beautiful ! Great job...

Wow Leesa, that is a real beauty and to finish it in 2 hours is spectacular. Of course it would take me that long and more to just cut. Hooray for DH for giving you a hand. It is nice when husband and wife can share each other's hobbies. Thanks for posting.

It's a show stopper.

I think that looks so well planned and executed that it surely must have taken FOUR HOURS. Kidding aside, that is just beautiful. Love the colors that are so unifying and the design. Wow!!!

2 hours.......................you're kidding right ??? Whatever it took, that quilt is awesome !! What a terrific "joint" effort.

That is lovely. The only time I can do a 2 hr. quilt is when I'm trying to make a 20 minute table runner.

I love it, that's what I think. Beautiful job.
