Thank you sharing your story, I also didn't know what TBI was and had to google it. It appears you have recovered well and your quilts are beautiful. The recipients will be very grateful I'm sure.

How wonderful for your recovery. Especially that you can still quilt! Your quilt is lovely and what a nice gesture.

Thank you for sharing pictures of your quilts and your story. Your quilts are beautiful!! I especially like your dog quilt. I posted a picture of one I made by that pattern, but yours shows more imagination. I really like the white tips on their tails and the paw prints going across the quilt. Thanks for sharing.

What beautiful quilts and a touching story of courage, and surviving under difficult circumstances. Congratulations on how far you have come. I fell and had a ruptured C-4-5 disk last Feb, had to learn how to feed myself, stand and walk again, but am so grateful that through God's will and the amazing therapists in rehab. I'm back nearly 95% with just a few things I can't do yet. I hope quilting has done for you what it did for me, get me through a difficult time in my life and I'm so happy you came out the other side. I'm sure your loving family had a lot to do with your recovery.

Your story is wonderful, and your quilts are beautiful. They are sure to be loved. My heart goes out to the sons who have been so dreadfully injured in this awful war and the moms who love them.
