We made it to one Triplet Connection Convention when it was held at Disneyland a few years back. Loved the support from the magazine, and from Janet herself. She is a quilter too, and now lives nearby! Congratulations on your retirement - I figure there is a time and place for everything... maybe it will be your time for quilting! Yeah!! |
And, I can see why! Beautiful! What a great memory quilt they have made!

The girls were 13 when the four of us took a block of the month class at our local quilt store. And with their 20th birthday this year, we just had to make "Turning Twenty" quilts. I told them I'd pay for the fabric, and quilt it for their birthday presents, but they had to make their own. They turned out beautifully! (the girls AND their quilts!!) And all three received blue ribbons at our county fair last week. I love my sweet girls! http://quiltscapesquilting.blogspot....e-made-it.html |
I LOVE THEM!!! GREAT JOB GIRLS!!
|
What a nice idea. Their quilts show their individualness (if that is a word) and yet the same. My granddaughter has made a Turning 20 and a Turning 20 Again for 4-H the past 2 years and has gotten Grand Champion both years. She is just 13 years old. We took a class this summer together and that was so neat. Her quilts are much better than mine though (and larger). :)

Beautiful girls and quilts. Triplets and three quilters, it just doesn't get any better than that.

Aren't you blessed!!!

How nice that the 3 of them like to quilt. What a smart mom you are, they each got a quilt from you and you didn't have to piece any of them!!!!!....:)
|
Each quilt, although the same pattern, looks totally different. They really show the girls' personalities, don't they? Great job!
|
Your daughters are beautiful and so are their quilts. Great choices in fabs. Wish I could do that well. Enjoy your family.

Thank-you so much for sharing this. It is great to see the next generations carrying on in quilting.

Beautiful Girls and Beautiful Quilts.

How wonderful of them to all share the same interest. I like how they're all the same - yet different. I envy the fun they will have as they collect their individual stashes, share ideas and quilt throughout their lives!
