Such a beautiful gift. Your hand quilting looks good to me.

It is just beautiful! You should feel very proud. We are our own worst critics.

It's beautiful! I was looking for the pattern in about an 8in circle...... Any ideas?

It looks wonderful and nobody will see your mistakes (if there are any) if you don't point them. You should be very proud of yourself. I love this pattern but have been afraid to try it.

It is hand quilted because it was too big to handle in my work space and under my domestic sewing machine. I am not a hand quilter but I had no choice so I did my best. Could do better comes to mind!

The last one I made was almost the same colour, the floral fabric is different. The request was to make one similar.
I handed it over this afternoon and the couple were thrilled. Phew what a relief, and what a lovely feeling I got when they were so pleased with it. It's not perfect but................................

Wow! is right that is beautiful. My dear you must be a glutton for punishment, lol. to make four of these things. I have only made one, and it was by the Rings that Bind pattern by Cheryl Phillips, and that was enough for me. Her pattern wasn't that difficult, and I only made it because my daughter had asked for one for several years. I don't plan to ever make another one, but then I normally don't make more than one quilt with the same design, who knows why, just me. That is lovely, and I would never get one finished if I tried quilting it by hand, I despise hand work to start with, and try to do everything on the machine. You did a beautiful job, and I can definitely see why the couple was thrilled. Congrats. on a great quilt.
