Fantastic! Your color choices couldn't have been better! May I ask, what is the pattern?

BSKTLOFR-QUILTER 12-23-2011 06:35 PM

WOW!!! She did a great job, you are both amazing. I think you are both blessed. Wish I had a DD to work with me. I have a DDIL but She has no time and really isn't interested in Quilting, lol. I love Her anyway. Great job and very pretty.

Beautiful quilt and truly amazing daughter! Lucky you, but then, you did a great job with her!

crafterrn1 12-25-2011 10:16 AM

Lovely quilt. Tell your daughter to practice practice and practice some more. Also if she can get to a Machine quilters show or one of the Big shows AQS or Houston Quilt Inc shows she would learn so much it would be well worth it. Enjoy! Luann

I don't know the name of the pattern. We had seen something like it in a quilt store and then drew it out in EQ7. We paper pieced the spikes. It was made from scraps from a drunkards path top we had done. Last summer I posted a picture of a bella bella top we had made while I was at her house. She has a few tops to quilt. By the time she is done, she will have learned her machine well. For Christmas she sent me an airplane ticket to her home in Illinois, so we will be spending another week doing what we love. I feel truly blessed.

I also was trying to post pictures and even when I followed directions under "help", there wasn't an icon over the message box for me. Under "help" there is a place to click on "contact information" and I then sent an email to this site ([email protected]) and she promptly (by next day) responded, told me to check the page with message box again, and lo and behold, there was the icon (as well as other options) above my message box!!! It must have been magic; don't know how she did it! I was going to post pictures of completed Christmas gifts but since then haven't found time to do it but may still go ahead with it. It should work now. Try this and I hope it works for you too.
