I did this one for a guild challenge a few years ago.. I decided that the back should not be solid, so I did the Dutchman's puzzle. Those big pieces were not as easy as I had expected.

This is the first quilt where I designed my own feathers and it was quilted on my Bernina machine that has about a 6" throat.

I love the way the colors pop off the black!! The quilting looks great!! :D :thumbup:

Looking at this picture just now, I wish I had put a couple of small inner borders in the light colors before adding the wide outer border. Oh well, hopefully I will do better on the next one.

No such luck! I sew on the last machine that Bernina made WITHOUT a computer! It is about 17 years old and works like a charm.

Wow, I love your quilt. The black background is perfect for those wonderful stars. The colors of the stars are beautiful. What a wonderful quilt. And the quilting is amazing. Even more so being you did it with a six inch throat. Wow. Great job and thanks for sharing. I need to wipe the drool off my keyboard.
