Thanks!! That IS good idea.

Thanks! Hmm, don't know about my meandering skills -- and on such a large quilt. (Well, large for me, that is.)

Yes, I cut the block 9 1/2 inches.

Beautiful quilt but I haven't a clue on how to quilt it....

I would do in the ditch on the frames and on the floral do a very simple "daisy" centered in the block.. goes with the floral theme not too difficult and gives an "interest" to it.

Beautiful Quilt!!! Can't help with the quilting, but will be waiting to see what you decided to do :D :D :D

I love the attic window pattern - this one is very pretty.
About the quilting. Here are some options:
Quilt SID down the main lines (where it is continuous) both directions. Then you can start at the outer edge of the white panel and SID til you get TO the miter, and angle the SID down the miter. At this point, you can either tie off and start a new line at the next white pane, or just follow the already stitched line til you get to the next white pane.
The flower centers, you can either tie the squares with floss, or you can do some outline quilting on the flowers, or you can add one large(ish) flower petal in each square.

Or....if you are uncomfortable with trying to stitch any type of flower, you could SID all the main components and then do a smallish cross hatch just in the floral fabric...just another option..

Sandpat, MadQuilter, and Tippy -- I don't know if I can do the flower (FMQ) in the windows. That's a lot of quilt to be moving around for free motion. Perhaps I'd better stick to the arcs in the windows. Thanks so much for the input.

Please post another pic when it is all done, I'm sure it will look great whatever you decide.
