I finished my baby quilt for my greatgrandson Demone. He'll be here in August.

Very pretty!

Thank you. There are little bears in the red and blue fabrics. My granddaughter did his room in blue and brown so I hope it matches her colors.

Lucky baby boy!
|
that is awesome. Would that be an easy pattern for a newbe?

I used my own measurements but yes it is. Was fun to do. I layed out my design according to a picture of another quilt shown on here that someone had made. She didn't have any measurements so I made up my own. I used 4 1/2" squares. The strip was 2 1/2"x4 1/2". The blocks were 2 1/2 x2 1/2". With these sizes, on the blocks have to be sewn a scant 1/4". I found that out the hard way so next time they will be cut a little bigger. The outside brown and blue strip were each 3 inches, then used the same blue for the binding. The corner blocks were 3 x 3 inches.

Aw, great quilt!

Thanks for the info! I see , so I can do different sizes of the blocks. I will give this a try then.
