Ok, so my best friend wanted to learn how to sew, and she wants to try small quilting projects and stuff. I thought it would be a good idea to start with something simpler, show her how the read pattens and instructions, cutting directions and everything. We decided last year to make beach bags. Didn't pan out last summer, or this summer actually, but we actually had time to start this project last week. She came over tonight to finish it. She was soooo happy and proud of her bag!

I'm attatching a pic of her and her bag, and of my bag. I cut myself out of the pic because I look like garbage tonight, lol!

Terri, if you see this, do you recognise that parrot fabric?

I love your friend's new tote bag! It was so nice of you to teach her to sew. She did a great job for her first project.

Now I have seen a picture of you and I know you could never look all that bad, never! Give yourself a break!
